Who is Leanne Nieforth?
Leanne Nieforth is a Postdoctoral Research Associate at the University of Arizona College of Veterinary Medicine. She earned her Ph.D. in Human-Animal Interaction at Purdue University, and both her M.S. (Communication) and her B.S. (Animal Science) at North Carolina State University. Her research focuses on discovering the science behind human-animal interaction. She is passionate about understanding how we can partner with animals to create effective interventions for the benefit of both the people and the animals involved.
